Doha – Mubasher: Qatarga-2 will be providing Kuwait with half a million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) over four years by virtue of a deal signed Thursday with state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), according to an official news agency.
As of March 2016, Qatargas 2, a joint venture among Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total companies, will transport the LNG on board of Q-Flex LNG Vessels hired by Qatargas to Kuwait, according to the deal reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The LNG delivery will be between March and November of each year to meet the growing demand for power during the summer months, QNA said.
